Some Things I Do

Graphic Design

I dabble in a little bit of all areas of design allowing a simplified transition into any opportunity thrown my way. The diveristy in my work shows flexibility and allowing myself to craft into a variety of scenarios in the workplace.

Illustration

Having drawing since a young age, the common practice of traditional painting is a craft I choose to not give up. Having had several commissions every few months is a great way to continue discipline and allowing my designs to literally flow into my artwork. This transitions greatly into my other illustrations.

UX/UI Design

UX/UI is placing itself as a very popular field in the design industry. Having use an interface everyday on a myriad of devices lets me understand that knowing how things work on a developer level makes things easier for me to read, understand and explain to others how interface design and experience should work.

Overview

Before fully understanding what a graphic designer was or does, I decided I wanted to be one at a young age. I figured making clothing and selling it would be a fun thing to do. After going to school for it and learning many different aspects of the design language and industry. It has only gotten more interesting since. It hit a dark moment in my life only a short time after high school, but I had good company to bring me out of it. I had a moment of self discovery and realization. I push forward in this career path not knowing what to expect, yet I look forward to it.

As an Arist, I am a firm believer in creating a bold statement. To create and design is to eliminate the uneccesary and make the silence speak. I have shown is work within multiple galleries at the Santora Arts Building, Santa Ana. I am currently an independant artist. My works can be seen in the collections of private patrons. I have won the 84th birthday of the Santora Arts Building Competition in 2012 and has displayed my work in galleries over a dozen times throughout his career. I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, and currently resides in Southern California. I will recieve his BFA from California State University, Fullerton in Fall 2017.
